When Nipon Ichi software labeled Disgaea 4: a Promise Unforgotten, as the most hardcore strategy RPG out there, they weren't lying. Usually I hate the term "hardcore" when referring to games, or the people who play them, and only use the term to describe games that truly require your attention to enjoy. Disgaea 4 is debatably the most hardcore single player game available to gamers. Let me explain:

     I...

Review: Netflix on 3DS

I've all but cut cable television from my life entirely, replaced with Neflix and Hulu Plus. At E3 2010, Nintendo gave consumers a whole new reason to pick up a 3DS over an Iphone: Netflix, with glasses free 3D. Yesterday the app was launched, and while it's 3D programming is missing for the time being, it's nothing short of amazing.

People who ...

Review: Dead or Alive: Dimensions

I hate arcade fighters. I really do, they just don’t appeal to me. Streetfighter 4? No. I refuse. Blazblue? Forget it. I’m never touching that game again. Yet somehow I was talked into buying Dead or Alive: Dimensions by a friend who is as repulsed by the arcade fighter craze as I am. I didn’t understand it at first, but as soon as I picked up the game, I realized what I had very poorly judged this game. Dead or Alive: Dimensions is simply amazing.

I am both a cartoon junkie and a long time Super Smash player. So when I heard that Crave Games was making a Super Smash Bros. clone with Cartoon Network characters, I was absolutely thrilled.

Featuring characters from old Cartoon Cartoons like Dexter's Lab and Powerpuff Girls to newer ones like Cho...

Everyone who's worth their gaming salt has a story to tell about their experience playing ocarina of time - good or bad. For me Ocarina of time was gifted to me by my older cousin, a hand me down of sorts. Seeing as I was new to Nintendo gaming I was absolutely wowed when in stead of jumping over...
