Every day is the "End of the Week"

Fans of End of the Week, greetings. Has it been that long since you've heard from me? No, of course it hasn't.

Regardless, for those who do not know who I am, I go by Youko. I think I've been a guest on Episodes 13, 20, (29, the lost episode), and more recently, Episode 35. With life really catching up to me quickly, as I am a senior in college at the University of Michigan, I am putting my main podcast "Show Me Your News" on hold indefinitely. So graciously, The Nartist has offered me a position of blogging for the site, as well as producing video media from time to time. With that, I'd like to primarily say thank you to him for granting me this opportunity. Remember, none of us get paid and are putting in this kind of work to keep you guys entertained. ALWAYS remember that.

As one of my first contributions, much like Rosaru attending InfiniteBits, I will be attending Michigan's premiere anime/gaming convention Youmacon, which is being held this weekend. However, since I study media, coming away with just memories from an event isn't really my style.

Therefore, as a sort of offering to you guys, I am intending to take lots of pictures and also record some video of my impressions, which will be edited together as a sort of Youmacon recap special!

Youmacon is being held from October 29th-November 1st in Dearborn, Michigan.

My pre-con goals:

- Meet, shake hands with LittleKuriboh (Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged) and Doug Walker (ThatGuyWithTheGlasses)

- Get my Street Fighter IV box signed by Kyle Hebert (Ryu), Laura Bailey (Chun-Li), Caitlin Glass (Cammy), and Travis Willingham (Guile)

- Gain a further appreciation for Team Four Star (not on that bandwagon yet)

- Attend some wicked panels, like a live, pre-release screening of Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged 43 & 44.

- Hear Wayne Grayson (voice of Joey Wheeler) say "BROOKLYN RAGE" live

And of course, make a cool video for you guys!
