Further proof that EOTW is ALWAYS right

Posted by Nate D. on November 27, 2009 at 7:09 AM

last week on episode 40, I (the Nathan "The Nartist" Donahue) made a prediction about the upcoming zelda's new feature. You can imgine my surprise when I read my morning kotaku articles:

"In an interview with Britain's The Guardian, Zelda director Eiji Aonumahas given a none-too-subtle hint that the upcoming Wii entry in the series may feature, for the first real time in a Zelda game, flight." -Kotaku

That's right folks, you heard it form EOTW first. Link will be taking to the skies in the new zelda.

Just remember that there is a difference between "may" and "will."

But yeah, when I read this story, I thought of Ep. 40 as well.

It's true enough that ANYTHING can happen in the zelda plots. the game changes so drastically in development, that even if flight were in the game at this moment, it could be out by the time it's released.

In OoT, we were able to hover with Chickens. I figure Link will be hovering rather than flying, but either way, it seems pretty entertaining. I wouldn't mind being able to hover with a giant leaf, killing baddies along the way.
