Every day is the "End of the Week"

      Atelier Totori is an RPG coming out on 9/27/11 for the PS3. It is the newest game in the Atelier series published by NIS America, a series I personally have never heard of. However, I love NIS America and so I decided to take a look at it and once I did I was blown away! This game has an amazingly beautiful art style and I really mean it. This game's art isn't just some normal anime style, it is its own and it shows (as you will see with these screenshots) This alone almost makes me want to get the game, well that and a backpack with a drill arm. That's pretty awesome too, and of course to top it off it's a turn-based RPG that spans years and has multiple endings! Just my type of game!

      Atelier Totori follows the story of Totori, a student of alchemy, on her quest to become an adventurer and find her long lost mom. This game takes place years after the prequel, with characters from the prequel making appearances in this one.

   This game features crafting and synthesizing, since Totori is training to be an alchemist, along with an "Adventurer's License" system. This world has Adventurer as an actual profession and in order to access different areas of the world you need to level up your license by doing big things like killing bosses, finding landmarks, and completeing quests. I'm really looking forward to this since it seems like a fun way to control where the player goes, while also keeping them immersed in the world.

     The only thing keeping me from going out and preordering this game right now is that I haven't played the previous two. This will most likely be the case with most of us, but as this game gets closer to the release date, we should get more info and hopefully that will be able to convince us to get it!
